Welcome College Students! At FPC VB, we value the faith life of our college students. We want you to feel supported during this major life transition. Whether you’ve chosen to go off to college, you’re attending community college, you’ve enlisted, you’ve chosen to work or some combination of these categories— all are welcome to be part of FPC College Ministries! We hope you will consider joining us for Dutch Brunch and the following conferences.

College Ministry Events
Montreat College Conference (January 2-5, 2017)
Held in Black Mountain, NC (close to Asheville, NC), Montreat is known for quality Presbyterian events and the College Conference is no exception. You will enjoy the opportunity to worship God with over 1,000 other college students. We will leave on Tuesday at 9:00am and return Saturday around 5:00pm. You are welcome to meet us there, if that makes it easier. You are welcome to bring friends! Please don’t miss this opportunity!

S.A.L.T Conference (November 9-11th)
Held at Massanetta Camp & Conference Center. Many of you attended this conference in the past. I hope you will join us again for this awesome event! We will leave on Friday at 5:00pm and return Sunday afternoon.
This year’s theme, “For Such A Time As This,” is based on Esther 4:14. Keynote Speaker, the Rev. Andy Morgan, (Minister for UKirk at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville) will help participants unpack the theme during his sessions. Steven Hall will be providing musical leadership, and we will have information on the workshops very soon.
