Children’s Sunday School
Classes are located on the 2nd floor except, for the nursery which is on the 1st floor
This year, we will use the Spark House Curriculum for our children aged 2-5th grade. Kids will move from the Old Testament into the New Testament as the year moves on, and the materials are designed to teach our kids through illustrated retellings of Bible stories, engaging hands-on activities, and thought-provoking discussions.
Age 2: Room 211
Teachers Judy Miskimmin and Susan Bowman will introduce our 2-year-olds to Bible stories through play and teaching/mission activities. Even our smallest children are never too young to learn about their faith and make a big difference!
Ages 3-4: Room 214
Teachers Stacie and Ellie Frischkorn, Whitney Lee, Jacob and Lauren Barclay, Lauren Beasley will team up to teach our preschoolers as they learn Bible stories through thoughtful play.
Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Room 228
Teachers Nelson Steinert, Rachel and Ryan Radspinner, Jamie Haley, Brian Edwards, and our awesome youth will explore the colorful Spark Story Bible and provide fun, faith-filled activities.
3rd-5th Grade: Room 229
Teachers Nelson Steinert, Jeff Nelson, Robin Bland, Jenny, Marlee, and Banks Brown will work together to grow our late-elementary kids’ interest in their faith. At this age, they gain to take what they learn through hands-on activities and begin to connect biblical themes to their own lives.
Wonders of Worship
Wonders of Worship for children ages 4 yrs. – 5th grade is offered during the 11:00am worship services. Children are invited to attend the worship service and stay through the Spirit box, a children’s time with Pastor Dee Dee. Afterwards, children are escorted to Room 215 for Godly Play, which helps them learn more about Scripture, the rhythms and traditions of the church, and more. Children are returned to their parents in the Sanctuary near the end of the worship service. At our 8:30am service, children are also welcomed forward for the Spirit Box, and then can either return to their seats or go to Children’s Choir practice from 9-9:30am with Ms. Bonnie.

Infant Nursery – Room 131 – for babies up to 24 months. Open 8:30 a.m. – noon.Toddler Nursery – Room 211For children ages two and three available during the 8:30a.m. and 11:00a.m.Worship services. Both are served by professional staff.We offer a warm and safe atmosphere in our nursery for children to learn, live and grow in our Christian faith from the moment of birth. Parents may watch their child’s interaction through a one-way window in the hall outside room 131.

Church is a welcoming place for families to learn and grow together through faith enrichment ministries. Whether families worship on Sunday mornings or fellowship and learn through events like Advent Workshop or a talent show, a variety of ages coming together create that warm feeling called Church family.
Sunday School classes offer individuals Christian educational opportunities that appeal to children and youth in age-appropriate classes. Adults can choose traditional or discussion-oriented Bible studies or topical classes like Sacred Parenting for adults.
