Finding Friends in Faith

E.M. Hardy Men’s Bible Class – Library – Room 210 This adult men’s group uses the Present Word Bible Study curriculum to facilitate discussion centered on in-depth life experiences of class members. The love of God: Eternal, Saving, and Sustaining, are the subjects for this semester. Contact Howard Jones or Rich Engel for more information.

Women of Faith – Parlor Women will study the book, Parables, by John McArthur. The facilitators encourage questions and open discussions in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Contact Judy Voyer or Susan Cotten.

Journeys Class – Room 212 The Journeys class is a discussion class for adults of all ages and stages of life. This semester, The Faces of Jesus, by Frederick Buechner will be studied. Members are encouraged to read the chapter the week before the lesson, but discussion doesn’t require that. Books provided. Contact Ellen Nesbit with your questions.

Paul Walters Class – Room 214 An in-depth discussion group led in turn by class members with weekly readings in advance. Jesus before Christianity by Albert Nolan will be studied. Contact John Ellis for more information. 

Faith Forum – Room 215 Various class members facilitate in depth, challenging class discussions within an accepting, open minded group dynamic. They will study When Jesus came to Harvard by Harvey Cox. Contact Gael Daugherty.

Finding friends in faith –Room 211 Discussion oriented class that examines faith questions and parables using a variety of curriculum to stimulate conversation. Figuring out the implications of the scriptures for their lives today is fun and challenging. Dawn Finguerra is the contact.

Coffee & Cold Beverages – This is a weekly fellowship time held in the fellowship hall each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
