WORSHIP SERVICES

We hope you will join us soon at one of our worship services.

Summer Schedule: June 6th through September 5th there will be one service held in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m.

8:30 a.m. Traditional worship service in the Chapel.

11:00 a.m. Traditional worship service in the Sanctuary which includes the choir.

11:15 a.m.THE POINT, held in the Chapel, is a contemporary worship service for our kids grades 3-8. This energetic contemporary youth worship service with cool music and interactive sermons will leave you ready to serve God, excited for the week ahead and looking forward to the next Sunday service that’s designed for you! THE POINT is held in the Chapel during the 11:00 service. Youth grades 3-8 will exit the back of the sanctuary when the younger children proceed to the front for the Children’s Moment. THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION - Holy Communion is one of two Christian sacraments, the other being baptism. As baptism is the sacrament that initiates the Christian journey of faith, communion sustains us in that journey. In our church, all Christians, whatever their church denomination are invited to participate. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be offered at both services approximately once per month and most often on the first Sunday of each month.

 

MUSIC

Music is an integral part of the life and worship of First Presbyterian Church. Through its ministry, the various choirs and instrumentalists seek to lead the congregation in meaningful worship. The variety of the music programs reach out to people and involve them in the life of the church and community. Rehearsals build friendships and informal support groups as well as challenge those involved to reach toward musical excellence through singing and ringing. Come be a part of this important ministry. Sing and ring a new song to the Glory of God.
